This retreat is a fusion of rigorous and organic dance with embodied spirituality set to magical Middle Eastern and World music grooves. Come explore dance and movement as conscious vehicles to let go of patterns that no longer serve you, so we can together birth the New in this time of infinite possibilities. Through a yin-yang synthesis of passionate and exuberant movement with peaceful and grounded embodiment we learn the tools to keep the Living Flame of Love alive in our heart as we surrender to our magnificent potential. Dance of Oneness® is a way living at your full potential. Through a synthesis of Persian dance, Modern, Flamenco, Yoga, Tai Chi, Sufi ritual, Rumi’s poetry, and mystical teachings we integrate ourselves, harmonize with others and serve the greater Existence. 

Banafsheh, MFA Dance, L.Ac., is a “pioneer” in her unique synthesis of dance and spirituality. Her offering of the Sacred Feminine inside a contemporary gypsy dervish reconnects us with the power of the ancient priestesses, here to vitalize, liberate and heal. She teaches and performs worldwide and incorporates her knowledge of Chinese Medicine to benefit her students. 

Tony Khalife is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and tabla player who captivates his audience with a brilliant interweaving of Indian, Middle-Eastern, Flamenco and Rock’n’Roll styles. His original blend of world music inspires a vision of global unity and peace. 

The retreat will be at the peaceful and serene Ojai Eco-Sanctuary, one of the most beautiful sites of Ojai with great amenities including a hot tub, kiva, organic vineyard and gardens on a 54 acre land, traversed by trails which lead into the adjacent Los Padres National Forest, offering breathtaking views of the Ojai valley, its natural landmarks, and surrounding mountains, canyons, and waterways. We will have ample time for siestas and hiking to take in the beauty of the environment.
