From high-powered ecstatic dance and ritual to deep calm, take a journey in your inner terrain with live Middle Eastern trance music. Feel your fullest presence in the Here and Now with movement, luscious and devotional that brings you in touch with your core - calm, centered, radiant, open and free. Journey through ancient and new rituals of shaking, waves, reverential bowing and free-form. Arriving and ready for Sema, you have the option to whirl, meditate or free-dance. Open your Heart and unleash your creativity through liquid yet grounded movement, whole body undulations, and sensing your chakras.

If taking both Tuesday night classes together, fee is $30 for both classes or $220 for 16

Shannon D'Souza

A new member of NAMAH, Shannon D’Souza has been performing through out the United States since 2005. She is currently attending California State University of Long Beach in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree in Dance while also performing with several dance and entertainment companies ranging from cultural to commercial dance. She has been a part of musical theatre productions such as Hair, the American Tribal Love-Rock Musical and Oklahoma!, and has taught jazz dance, modern, cheer, hip hop, jazz funk, as well as fire dance in numerous public schools and studios.

Roxanne Leigh Onofre

A returning member to NAMAH, Roxanne Leigh Onofre was born and raised in California where she now resides. She graduated from the LA County High School for the Performing Arts focusing on her passion for dance. She has danced in various companies in California such as Pacifico Dance Company, Grandeza Mexicana, Y Arriba Y Arriba, and NAMAH. She has also had the opportunity to work with various artists such as Pablo Montero, Anna Barbara, and has danced on shows such as “Despierta America”, “Sabado Gigante”, and “Univision”.

Kelly Archbold

Assistant Director, Kelly Archbold has been dancing with NAMAH for 6 years and feels blessed to be part of the ensemble.  She has studied different forms of dance since she was a child and trained at UCLA's World Arts & Cultures Department, particularly in Flamenco, West African, and
